Strategy Overview

Unit23 Forex ORB EA is an automated Opening Range Breakout (ORB) system designed for forex markets. The EA builds a defined price range during a configurable session window and then monitors for structured breakouts beyond that range.

The system can optionally wait for confirmation candles or retests before entry, helping filter false breakouts and reduce exposure to early session volatility.

Trades are evaluated on closed bars by default, supporting consistent signal validation.

Risk & Trade Management

The EA includes robust position and exposure controls:

  • Fixed lot or percentage-based risk

  • ATR-aware stop loss logic

  • Multiple take-profit modes:

    • Risk-to-reward

    • ATR-based

    • Fixed targets

  • Optional timed close logic
