I am not sure what you are asking.  Default always begins near current price, and I must find the high volume starting point correct?           It is still difficult to see because there are 8 lines crossing over each other.  One of the other problems is changing time frames resets the initial point. I will try to look at it further.  I do not mean to compare, but the other MIDAS indicator only uses three lines from the starting point.  What does the creator of MIDAS suggest?

About the indicator reseting the manual positioning when changing timeframe is the normal behavior, because this feature was thought to be used as a temporary analysis.

After the update, it is now possible to hide any line, I added some presets to speed up this process.

The purpose of the indicator is to automatically locate the bottom and top of a period and plot from these points, if you notice that there is a better top or bottom than the indicator signaled, then just increase the period and it will consider these tops and bottoms .

I also suggest for those who want to use all the lines without polluting the chart too much, use two charts, in one put only the MIDAS 1 and in the other the MIDAS 2, to do this just change the "Show" parameters to false in one of them.
