BeiDou KaiYang

Beidou·Kaiyang is a Donchian Channel breakout EA. Default timeframe M30, entry period N=18, exit period M=10, optimized for EURUSD and major pairs.

**Core Logic**

- Entry: close above long upper band → buy; close below long lower band → sell.

- H4 Donchian filter: only trade in the direction of the higher timeframe. Two modes: strict breakout or midline direction. Reference bar can be closed or current.

- Exit: intraday touch of short channel — Bid touches short lower for longs, Ask touches short upper for shorts. Faster than close confirmation.

- Initial stop-loss: reverse long channel, placed in the order. Short stop-loss includes current spread by default to keep actual risk aligned.

- Take profit: risk-reward ratio (default 2.0) fixed TP, plus floating-profit fallback that closes when profit target is reached, ensuring exit even if TP is rejected.

- After take profit, EA pauses automatically until manually resumed.

**Martingale**

- Profit close → level resets to 0.

- Loss close → level +1, next risk multiplied by 1.5 (adjustable). Max 5 levels default.

- Level persists in state file. Timestamp prevents double-count on restart. Order comments include level (e.g., L2).

**Risk Management**

- Risk per trade = balance/equity percentage (default 1.0%).

- Risk amount rounded down to highest digit (e.g., 1234 → 1000).

- Minimum lot fallback if calculated lot is too small.

- Cooldown after close (default 600s, can disable).

- Manual pause/resume button. Paused state persists.

- Double-click one-click close-all button with confirmation.

**UI & Chart**

- Dark card-style panel: market, current position, amounts, Donchian channel, H4 filter, martingale risk.

- Chart draws Donchian lines for recent 1000 bars; upper bands same color, lower bands same color, long/short distinguished by width and style.

- Optional horizontal lines and midline.

**Restart & Multi-Symbol**

- State file per symbol + magic number (e.g., QYD_EURUSD_8111111_state.txt).

- On startup: adopts existing positions, deletes pending orders, resets if flat. Corrects martingale level based on last closed trade.

- Recommended: different magic number per symbol.

**Trading Session**

- Start/end time to the minute, cross-day supported (e.g., 22:00–06:00).

- Only restricts new entries; exits are not restricted.

**Risk Warning**

Martingale is high-risk. Consecutive losses can increase risk exponentially. With 5 levels, cumulative drawdown may exceed 20%. Use base risk ≤0.5%, max levels ≤5, and test on demo for 1–2 months before live trading. No guarantee of profit.
