Hello! You don't need to change the time. Just use my default set files. Instructions on how to install and configure are located here - https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/764818

It appears that all of the provided set files use the same magic number. do we need to change the magic number for each separate chart?

OneManArmy Update: Meet the 2Shot Portfolio

Hey traders! 👋
As promised, I’m expanding OneManArmy with fresh features and new portfolio options. This time — meet the 2Shot setup. Why “double shot”?

Because the EA trades two positions per symbol, not one.

The configuration set files are located here

But hold up — this isn’t some wild Martingale game. Each trade has its own Stop Loss, no grid, no averaging, no doubling down.

Just two clean, risk-controlled entries designed to smooth performance and adapt to trend extensions.

Here’s the deal:

If you use both portfolios — the standard OneManArmy and 2Shot — don’t run them on the same account.
Split them into different MT5 accounts for proper diversification.
That way, one portfolio can cover the drawdown of the other — your balance stays smoother, and your psychology calmer.

2Shot isn’t about gambling.
It’s about precision, logic, and control — the way trading should be. 🎯

One Man Army EA test results 🚀

Okay, guys, now about the tests of this advisor. I made them with a fixed lot to show the real profitability of the trading bot. This way, you can better see the real trading drawdowns and growth stages without the embellishments provided by the automatic trade calculation algorithm. In simple terms, I want to show you the pure, unadulterated result. And then you can increase the risk size to turn the "Double V-shaped" portfolio into a rocket that's flying to the sky!

Hi @Ihor Otkydach,

I see only few currency pairs for the double shot, will you be adding this to the other pairs as well?

Also I believe there is only one EA and it would be set from the preset files whether to use double shot or the initial settings?

Thank You

Hello! The "Double Shot" portfolio is simply an additional portfolio. You can place it separately on another account (on another MT5). In the future, I will add other options for trading with this advisor. They will not replace each other. These are simply additions—extensions of traders' capabilities.

hi Ihor,

you give the impression that OMA 2-Shot is better at controlling drawdowns (should they become unexpectedly large).

My question is: would I achieve better results if ... rather than opening another account (and having to fund it) ... I simply clean out the original set files  and the extra asset charts from OMA 1 and replace them with your 8 chosen assets plus their provided set files ?

So far, OMA 1 is ambling along at around 3.5% growth and carrying carrying anywhere between 4 and 10 percent drawdown. I am comfortable with it's performance but like most traders, would like to see if a change (swap) to OMA - 2-Shot could result in a better performance without increasing risk.

Your insight to this would be appreciated.

Thanks for what you do

So, bro, if you watched my video presentation for the portfolio "Double Shot", you already know my opinion. I recommend installing one portfolio on one trading account and another portfolio on a different trading account, and trading both at the same time on separate accounts. They work a bit differently and will show different results each month — that’s super diversification.

You shouldn’t replace one portfolio with another. On the contrary, you should expand your range — add more trading accounts where you can run new portfolios or even completely new trading bots. Don’t pile everything onto one trading account or try to substitute one system for another, because perfection doesn’t exist.

We just need to use multiple well-performing tools and diversify our final results through variety. That’s the smart, profitable way — and that’s how you become the kind of trader who’s always on top and unbeatable.

Hey, bro! After applying the set file, set the value of the "N deposit to increase" variable to 2500. In this case, the advisor will trade with minimal trading drawdown. This trading drawdown will not exceed the daily and maximum DD values you specified.

Hello sir, can you please add an option to increase lot size based on account equity rather than account balance? See attached photo.

I think this would be very useful, because account balance and acount equity can be quite different. For example, my account balance right now is $3000 but my account equity is $1800 because I have large drawdown from another EA. So having the option to determine lot size based on equity would enable users to more accurately align the EA settings with their risk appetite.

Hello! The size of the deals in this advisor is determined based on the amount of free equity.

Oh okay, so "N" deposit units to increase already refers to the account equity, rather than the account balance?

Yes, the advisor analyzes the size of the equity.

some trades are running since a few days at the moment. Is it better to quit them even if they are in a loss because of the overnight fees and now weekend will come with add. fees ?

Never interfere with trading manually. If a deal is open for a couple of days, that's not a problem. The problem is that you disrupt the expert's logic if you close deals manually.
