Hello,
I would like to know what happens if a trade enters recovery mode and the initial grid of losing positions goes into lock mode. The newly opened recovery trades by the EA might also move further south, even with small lot sizes and large step increments. My question is: Will the EA, at a certain point, open a second lock to also protect the recovery trades if necessary? I am trying to recover a 30% loss on my account, but with the recovery trades, I am now at a 40% unrealized loss. Thank you for your help.Hello,

The first order is opened according to the trend, and the following averaging orders are opened with a specified step. The averaging orders in the opposite direction will not be opened until this group of orders is closed.
I suggest you test the drawdown recovery in a similar market situation in history in the strategy tester to better understand how the advisor will act. You can select several similar market situations and run the test on them. Detailed instructions for the advisor and testing are here: https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/755530
And if necessary, you can write me a message and we will analyze your situation in more detail.
Hi, I just bought the EA. Please kindly share me the manual and other recommendation to use it. Please note, I've a primary EA which is running for trade. Do I need to attach the EA to an empty chart? Please guide me.
Hello! Detailed instructions for the advisor and testing are here: https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/755530
I recommend adding the advisor to the same chart. In this case, when a drawdown occurs, Recovery Manager Pro gets the ability to close other advisors by closing their windows. ( Disable_other_EAs = true in settings)
I highly recommend testing in visualization mode to see how the advisor will work. You can select several similar market situations and run the test on them.
If you have any questions about the advisor's work, be sure to write to me.

Hi i buyed yesterday, i put to work but instead recovery is draining the account for the lot size is happening in diff accounts
The DD was less than 20% i attache dthe EA and begin to open big lot size in the top. whats wrong?
Hello! You need to test the advisor in visualization mode and configure the advisor according to the instructions https://www.mql5.com/en/blogs/post/755530. You can adjust the lot size if you want.
Variables that allow you to configure volumes:
Open_lots(0-use_auto) - the advisor opens averaging orders of this set volume in order to partially close unprofitable positions from these open orders. 0 - the advisor automatically adjusts the opening volumes.
Close_lots(0-use_auto) - the advisor performs partial closes with this set volume. 0 - the advisor automatically adjusts closing volumes.
Opening volumes must be at least 1.5-2 times greater than closing volumes in order to partially close a losing position.
In order for RM Pro to independently configure the Open_lots and Close_lots variables, you need to set a value in the Volums_Mode variable. It has three options for calculating volumes:
Auto_Small_Lots - automatic small volumes, low risk
Auto_Medium_Lots - automatic medium volumes, average risk
Auto_High_Lots - automatic high volumes, high risk
Risk_K_adjustment - the variable additionally allows you to increase/decrease by a specified value the volumes that the advisor uses automatically.I already been testing and using the recovery but i need to say that is a little dangerous if the pair is volatile, with gold i put to work yesterday with a 10% of DD, using lock yes. but the EA begin to open more bigger lot sizes against the trend, you have to be able to put some $$ in the balance to survive, i had the same behaviour the first times that use the EA, be carefull, not all is super easy.

I had to put an extra $1K and i guess that ill have to put more to avoid clean the account, the EA opened trade against the trend.
Share the preset of this EA for Exness Cent account only. I used it in my account, starting with $100 (10,000 cents), and set the maximum drawdown to start recovery at 20%.
You can track my trading on Myfxbook.

Hello! If you enable locking and do not open additional orders, the advisor opens one locking order at the beginning of work. After that, it begins to reсover the drawdown using averaging orders.
