AUREUS — XAUUSD Multi-Engine Expert Advisor

Aureus is a gold-only (XAUUSD) Expert Advisor built around three independent trading engines that run side by side on a single chart.

Each engine has its own logic, its own order identity and its own exit management, so their results are uncorrelated — when one is quiet, another may be working.

The goal of this design is diversification within one EA, rather than relying on a single setup.

The three engines

• Core A — a daily breakout engine that arms at the start of the session and trades the break of the previous day's range with a tight, fast exit.
• Core B — a structural breakout engine that maps significant H1 pivot levels and trades confirmed breaks, with a staged trailing stop.
• Core C — a second structural breakout engine with an adaptive, volatility-aware trailing model whose stop distances rescale with the current gold price, letting winning trades run while protecting the position early.

All three are enabled together by default and are managed as one portfolio on the account.

Built to be simple to run

• Automatic position sizing — choose a risk preset (Conservative / Balanced / Dynamic / Aggressive) and the EA sizes each trade for you, or switch to a fixed manual lot.
• News protection — automatically steps aside around high-impact USD events (NFP, FOMC) using the terminal's economic calendar, with a built-in fallback when the calendar is unavailable (and in the Strategy Tester).
• Weekend protection — stops taking new exposure before the Friday close.
• Trading-day filter — enable or disable individual weekdays.
• On-chart control panel — live account, performance and per-engine breakdown (positions, pending orders and floating P/L for each Core), plus one-click "pause new orders" and "close all".

Requirements

• Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold). The EA auto-detects the broker's gold symbol name.
• Account type: Hedging (the multi-engine logic requires it).
• Timeframe: any — the engines use their own internal timeframes regardless of the chart.
• A low-spread gold account and a VPS are recommended for consistent execution.
