Liquidity Sweep Gold waits for the market to do something it does almost every day on gold: run the stops sitting above the previous session high, fail there, and reverse. It trades that failure, with a stop the market itself defined and a fixed 1:2 target.
No martingale. No grid. No averaging down. No recovery mode. If the trade is wrong, it takes the loss and waits for the next one.
WHY THIS EA IS DIFFERENT
Tested on 100 percent real ticks, not generated ones. The backtest below ran on 66,519,756 real ticks from a live broker feed. Generated tick tests understate the true spread and let trades survive stops they would have hit in reality. On this strategy that difference was measured at roughly 25 percent of the result. What you see below is the honest number, not the flattering one.
No repainting, no look ahead. Swing points are two bar fractals confirmed only after both bars to their right have closed. Nothing is read from an unfinished bar. Run across three completely different tick models the EA produced essentially the same trade list, 97 to 100 percent identical entries depending on configuration, which is the fingerprint of logic that cannot see the future.
One position at a time. Your risk is always one trade, never a basket that grows against you.
Everything is switchable. Nine modules, each with several options, all exposed as inputs. You are not locked into my choices, you can test your own and see the result in the tester yourself.
HOW IT TRADES
1. It marks the liquidity. The high and the low of the last completed trading session, following the Asia to London to New York chain in GMT. Server time to GMT conversion is automatic, including European daylight saving.
2. It waits for the sweep. Price must pierce that level by at least 0.10 x ATR(14) and close back inside it on the same bar. That failed break is where trapped orders sit. The extreme of the pierce becomes the stop loss anchor.
3. It demands proof. A sweep alone is not enough. Within 10 bars a bar must close beyond the last confirmed swing formed before the sweep, a market structure shift. In testing, requiring this confirmation measurably outperformed entering on the sweep alone.
4. It executes. Market entry at the close of the confirming bar. Stop at the sweep extreme plus a 0.10 x ATR buffer. Target at a fixed 1:2. Then it stops interfering and lets the trade resolve.
BACKTEST RESULTS
XAUUSD M5, January to August 2026, every tick based on real ticks, history quality 100 percent, 1.50 percent risk per trade on a 10,000 USD account.

The win rate is under 40 percent by design. The 1:2 payoff is what carries the result, so expect losing runs and judge it over a series, not over single trades.
FULL DISCLOSURE
Most listings show you only the backtest that worked. Here is the rest of it, because you will find out anyway once you run it.
183 trades over 8 months is a moderate sample, not a large one. This result is not statistically significant at the usual 95 percent threshold. Treat it as promising evidence, not proof.
The test covers one broker and one year. It has not been validated across brokers or across different market regimes.
Applied unchanged to other markets it lost money. EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY and US100 were all negative over the same period. This is a gold specific observation, not a universal edge. Run it on gold.
The worst observed run was 9 consecutive losses. At 2 percent risk that alone is roughly a 17 percent drawdown. Size accordingly.
The tested account is spread only. An account type that charges commission will perform worse.
