Makito Gauge is a visual market-pressure indicator for MetaTrader 5. It combines multiple internal price, trend, strength, and volume measurements into one easy-to-read compass.
The large needle represents the overall directional bias, while the smaller aqua colored needle represents lower-timeframe directional strength and confirmation.
Makito Gauge does not automatically open, modify, or close trades. It is designed to support manual trading decisions.
Gauge Signals
| STRONG BUY | Strong bullish bias with lower-timeframe confirmation |
| STRONG SELL | Strong bearish bias with lower-timeframe confirmation |
| WEAK BUY | Bullish bias exists, but confirmation is incomplete |
| WEAK SELL | Bearish bias exists, but confirmation is incomplete |
| NO TRADE | Conditions do not provide a clear directional advantage |
| ALIGNED | The large and aqua needles agree |
| WAITING FOR LOWER TF | Overall bias exists, but the aqua needle has not confirmed |
| WAITING FOR STRENGTH | Direction exists, but strength is insufficient |
| NEUTRAL | Market pressure is balanced or unclear |
Recommended Timeframe
Makito Gauge is primarily designed for:
- Symbol: XAUUSD but can be used on different Symbols
- Chart timeframe: M1
- Trading style: Scalping and short-term intraday analysis
The M1 chart is recommended because the aqua needle is intended to show fast changes in lower-timeframe pressure, while the main needle incorporates broader market context.
How to Use
- Attach Makito Gauge to an XAUUSD M1 chart.
- Observe the large needle for the overall market bias.
- Use the aqua needle as lower-timeframe confirmation.
- Consider a BUY when both needles point bullish and the indicator shows STRONG BUY .
- Consider a SELL when both needles point bearish and the indicator shows STRONG SELL .
- Avoid entering when it displays NO TRADE , NEUTRAL , or WAITING FOR LOWER TF .
- Use independent risk management, including a stop loss and a suitable exit plan.
WEAK BUY and WEAK SELL indicate directional pressure, but conditions are not as well aligned as a strong signal. They may be used as an early warning rather than an immediate entry.
