Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Betha Scalper is an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 designed around a 3-Layer Filter pending order breakout system. This EA combines the automatic detection of market swing structures, momentum, and ATR-based volatility to place and manage orders around confirmed market structures, specifically on the symbol and account where the EA is attached. Notably, it does not use Martingale, Averaging, or Hedging techniques. Because the EA prioritizes signal validation based on market structure, it is capable of opening positions with significantly improved outcomes. This EA compatible with EA: XAUUSD
With its 3-layer validation, transactions are only processed when the directional trend of the market structure and the momentum signal align seamlessly. The EA then places orders with Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) levels calculated dynamically from the ATR and/or the detected swing levels. This system automatically complies with the broker's minimum stop distance to ensure orders are never rejected for being too close to the market price.
Money Management
The lot size can be set as fixed or calculated automatically based on a specified risk percentage of the account balance for each transaction. The calculated lot volume is automatically rounded down (floored) to match the broker's volume step and minimum lot size requirements. Additionally, it includes an optional capped fallback mechanism to ensure trades are not skipped solely because they fall below the broker's minimum lot size limit.
Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Trailing
Stop Loss and Take Profit levels are calculated from the ATR and/or the detected market swing levels, and they are strictly maintained at or beyond the broker's minimum stop distance. An optional trailing stop feature can track either the ATR values or the initial risk value of the transaction (1R). This feature progressively adjusts the stop level as the market price moves favorably in the position's direction.
Position and Order Management
By default, only one position is kept open at any given time, and any pending order on the opposite side is automatically canceled as soon as a market position is opened. Each order and position is uniquely identified using a specific Magic Number, ensuring that the EA only manages transactions that it opened on the active chart. Daily trading limits and an entry cooldown timer—both governed by the selected Risk Level preset—keep overall trading frequencies properly controlled.
Session and Spread Protection
Optional filters allow trading activities to be blocked on weekends, restricted after a specific hour on Fridays, or confined strictly within a customized session-hour window. Furthermore, trading can be paused at any moment if the current market spread exceeds the preconfigured maximum limit. These safety protocols ensure the EA remains out of the market when conditions diverge from the user's explicit preferences.
Dashboard
An on-chart panel displays the account balance and equity, the active Risk Level preset, the chosen money management mode, the total number of pending orders, and the current count of open positions. It also shows the trades executed today against the daily limit, the real-time spread, the cooldown timer status, and the overall status of the EA. Built-in power and minimize buttons allow the dashboard interface to be toggled directly from the trading chart.
All strategy settings, risk management profiles, and display properties are fully configurable through input parameters, allowing the EA to be precisely tailored to different symbols, timeframes, and account equity sizes. This EA does not utilize external DLL calls, does not connect to any third-party external services, and does not harvest or collect user data.
