Long Term Gold

Long Term Gold is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor designed for XAUUSD trading.

The Expert Advisor uses a range breakout strategy and level-based trading logic. At the beginning of the trading period, the system forms a price range, identifies the upper and lower boundaries, and then waits for a confirmed breakout. If the price closes above the upper boundary, the EA considers a buy entry. If the price closes below the lower boundary, the EA considers a sell entry.

Entries are executed only according to predefined rules. Stop Loss and Take Profit are calculated based on the boundaries of the formed range. This makes the strategy structured and allows the user to understand where the risk and target levels are located.

The strategy also includes an additional AI-assisted analytical module designed to help evaluate market conditions and improve the filtering of trading situations. The EA does not make random decisions or rely on manual trade execution at the moment of entry. All actions are performed according to predefined rules, internal filters, and risk parameters.

The main idea of Long Term Gold is disciplined long-term gold trading, not aggressive short-term speculation. The system is built around a structured process: range formation, breakout confirmation, risk control, profit protection, and limited position size management.

The Expert Advisor does not use a classic martingale system and does not apply unlimited lot doubling. The strategy uses only limited position size scaling based on predefined rules, with a fixed maximum exposure level.

Long Term Gold is also not a classic grid system. The EA does not open an unlimited series of orders at fixed price intervals. All entries are limited by the strategy logic, trading schedule, daily rules, and internal risk filters.

Lot management modes:

The Expert Advisor includes 3 lot management modes. The user can choose the mode depending on account balance and acceptable risk level.

1. Standard Growth

Classic mode. The user manually sets the starting lot using the StartLot parameter. The EA then automatically scales trading volume according to the internal strategy logic.

Example:
StartLot 0.01 → 0.01 / 0.02 / 0.02 / 0.03
StartLot 0.02 → 0.02 / 0.04 / 0.04 / 0.06

This mode is suitable for more stable use and manual risk control.

2. Dynamic Growth

Automatic balance-based lot management mode. The EA determines the base trading volume according to the current account balance.

Example:
Balance below 1000 → 0.01
Balance 1000–2999 → 0.02
Balance 3000–3999 → 0.03
Balance 4000–4999 → 0.04
Balance 5000–5999 → 0.05

This mode is designed for gradual trading volume growth as the account balance increases. It is suitable for users who want automatic lot scaling without manual lot adjustment.

3. Accelerated Growth

Accelerated growth mode. In this mode, the EA calculates the base lot more actively: every 500 units of account balance increases the base trading volume by 0.01.

Example:
Balance below 500 → 0.01
Balance 500–999 → 0.01
Balance 1000–1499 → 0.02
Balance 1500–1999 → 0.03
Balance 2000–2499 → 0.04
Balance 2500–2999 → 0.05

This mode may increase potential returns, but it also increases risk, deposit load, and possible drawdown. It is recommended to use Accelerated Growth only after testing it in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account.

The trading logic remains the same in all lot modes. Only the base trading volume calculation method changes.
