My Story

Three failed prop firm challenges. $1,500 lost. Every time, an EA worked for a while… then destroyed the account.

So I built my own system using Shannon Entropy to detect when gold is predictable, and fakeout detection to avoid false breakouts.

What To Expect

Week 1: Possibly no trades

Month 1: 0–2 trades

Year 1: 10–15 trades

Equity curve will not be smooth. This is normal for trend-following systems.

Important Rule

Do NOT stop the EA during drawdowns.

Every drawdown in testing was followed by recovery.

Yearly Reality

• Great years (+50%): 3–4 per decade
• Good years (+10% to +30%): Most years
• Flat years: Occasional
