📊 Support & Resistance Indicator Pro - User Manual
This tool is an advanced analysis panel operating on MetaTrader 5 that instantly tracks the price's proximity to support and resistance levels, shows the trend direction (EMA), and sends notifications to both your computer and your mobile phone when an opportunity arises.
⚙️ 1. Adding to MetaTrader 5 (Installation)
-
Open the Navigator window on the left side (Ctrl + N).
-
Find the indicator under the Indicators tab.
-
Click and drag it onto the chart you want to trade on (e.g., XAUUSD).
-
The settings window will appear. Configure your settings, click "OK", and the panel will appear on your chart.
🖥️ 2. Interactive Panel Features Once added to the chart, the panel offers you the following conveniences:
-
Live Language Change: By clicking on the [TR], [EN], [ZH] buttons at the top of the panel with your mouse, you can instantly change the language of the panel and incoming notifications.
-
Auto Timeframe: If you haven't specifically selected a fixed period in the settings, the panel automatically reads the chart's timeframe. When you switch the chart from M5 to H1, the data on the panel (Support, Resistance, and EMA) is instantly recalculated based on H1.
-
4-Column Comparison Table: Lists all the symbols you selected one below the other. For each symbol, it presents the Support, Resistance, EMA, and Current Price in a single aligned row with a modern interface. When the price approaches support or resistance, that row's color changes (Green/Red) to grab your attention.
🎛️ 3. Inputs Settings Menu When attaching the indicator to the chart (or when you right-click and access its properties), the menu that appears is divided into 5 main groups:
-
=== 01. PANEL AND LANGUAGE SELECTION === You set the panel's starting language, its position on the screen (X and Y coordinates), and its size (Scale) here.
-
=== 02. BASIC SETTINGS ===
-
Symbols to Track: You can type the pairs you want to track separated by commas (e.g., XAUUSD,EURUSD,BTCUSD).
-
Timeframe: Leaving it at the default "Current" (Auto) is recommended.
-
Proximity Tolerance (Points): Determines how close the price needs to get to the support or resistance to trigger an alarm. (e.g., if you type 20, a signal is generated when the price gets within 20 points of the level).
-
-
=== 03. S&R STRATEGIES === You select which underlying indicators the panel will use to find support/resistance points (High/Low, Fractals, ZigZag). Keeping them all enabled allows it to detect stronger levels.
-
=== 04. EMA SETTINGS ===
-
Show EMA: Adds an EMA column to the table to see the main trend (Can be turned off).
-
EMA Period: The moving average period to be used for trend analysis (e.g., 50, 100, or 200).
-
-
=== 05. NOTIFICATION SETTINGS === You select how the system will alert you when it generates a signal (Popup message on screen or Push Notification to phone).
📱 4. Mobile Phone Notification Setup (Push Notification) Even if you leave your computer, you can have your MetaTrader 5 mobile app receive instant messages when the price reaches support/resistance points.
