Waddah Attar Explosion Auto Adaptive

This is an optimized version of the Waddah Attar Explosion (WAE) indicator, designed to adapt to different asset classes.

Standard WAE indicators often use a fixed "DeadZone" calculation (usually set to 20). This fixed value may not be suitable for high-volatility assets like Bitcoin, Gold, or Indices (US30), potentially leading to incorrect filtering.

This Auto-Adaptive version addresses that calculation issue.

The indicator implements a dynamic formula based on ATR and SMMA to automatically calculate the DeadZone level according to the symbol's volatility and point value.

Key Features:

  • Auto-Adaptive DeadZone: The blue dotted line adjusts automatically to current market volatility.

  • Multi-Asset Compatibility: Designed to function on Forex, Crypto, and Indices without manual code adjustments.

  • Trend Analysis: Visual Histogram (Green for Bullish, Red for Bearish).

  • Signal Filtering: The interaction between the Histogram and the Explosion Line helps filter low-volatility periods.

  • No Repaint: The indicator values do not change after the candle close.

How to read the signals:

  • Uptrend: The Green Histogram is above the Solid Explosion Line, AND the Solid Explosion Line is above the Dotted DeadZone Line (Blue).

  • Downtrend: The Red Histogram is above the Solid Explosion Line, AND the Solid Explosion Line is above the Dotted DeadZone Line (Blue).

  • Exit / Neutral: The Histogram falls below the Solid Explosion Line, or the Solid Explosion Line falls below the Dotted DeadZone Line.
