Volume Spike Detection: The EA first establishes a baseline for normal trading volume by calculating the average volume over a user-defined period ( Volume Average Period ). It then watches for a bar whose volume dramatically exceeds this average by a specific multiple ( Volume Spike Multiple ). This signals an unusual and significant market event.
Bearish Reversal (Sell Signal): A sell signal is generated when there is a massive volume spike on a bullish candle (a bar that closes higher than it opened). The logic is that this surge in buying pressure represents a "blow-off top," where the last of the buyers have entered the market. This exhaustion of buying power creates a prime opportunity for a reversal, and the EA will initiate a sell trade.
