Most traders do not fail a challenge because their strategy stopped working. They
fail because nobody ever turned the rulebook into dollars. You know you have "5%
daily", you do not know that today it means $412 and that your three open trades
already spend $260 of it if their stops fill.
Prop Rule Sentinel puts that number on your chart and keeps it there.
**WHAT THE PANEL SHOWS**
1. DAILY LOSS — dollars left today, measured from the real reset point, not from
a number you typed in.
2. MAX DRAWDOWN — dollars left. Static floor, trailing on the end-of-day balance,
or trailing on the intraday equity high. Pick the one your firm actually uses.
3. IF EVERY STOP HITS — what remains after your open positions do their worst.
Any position without a stop is flagged, because that one has no worst case.
4. CONSISTENCY — how much more you may win today before this day becomes too
large a share of your profit, and how much more total profit your existing
best day still needs to stay legal. Both denominators are supported: against
total net profit, and against the sum of winning days only.
5. TODAY / TARGET / MINIMUM DAYS — day P&L, distance to target, and the days
counter, so you do not fail an evaluation for trading too few days.
6. MAX SAFE LOTS — the largest position your remaining headroom can pay for, on
the symbol of the chart it sits on, for the stop distance you plan to use.
**THE CONSISTENCY RULE IS WHY THIS EXISTS**
Most tools stop at drawdown. Plenty of traders clear the drawdown, hit the target,
and still lose the account because one good day was too large a share of the total.
That rule is arithmetic, it is knowable in advance, and almost nothing on the market
computes it. This does, in both of the forms firms use — including the variant where
a losing day does NOT dilute your best day, so trying to "balance it out" with a red
day makes your ratio worse, not better.
**RULE SHAPES, AND YOUR OWN PROFILE FILE**
Eight ready rule shapes cover the common plans — two-step and one-step evaluations,
funded accounts, static and trailing drawdown. Compatible with the rule structures
used by FTMO, FundedNext, The5%ers, FundingPips, Alpha Capital and others.
Firms move their percentages mid-cycle, so you are not locked to a preset: point
the EA at a profile file and edit one field. No waiting for an update.
**PROTECTION**
Alert only, or lock trading when a limit is breached, or close the book and lock.
Warnings fire while you still have room, at a buffer you choose.
**HONEST LIMITS — read these before buying**
- No EA can stop a manual order before it executes. On a lock this one closes what
you open afterwards, on the next tick. It is a guard rail, not a gate.
- Equity peaks from before you attached it are unknown, so an intraday-equity
trailing floor is seeded from your balance curve. Attach it on day one of a
challenge for an exact trailing floor.
- A consistency breach cannot be closed away — only stopping fixes it. That lock
never closes your positions.
- Your contract is the authority. This panel is a translation of it, not a ruling.
