ICT M5 — Smart Money EA for NASDAQ & Gold
ICT M5 is a fully automated Expert Advisor built on the ICT / Smart Money Concepts methodology (the "Silver Bullet" style model). It does not rely on lagging indicators like RSI or moving-average crossovers as entry triggers — instead it follows the same logical sequence an institutional-style trader looks for, step by step, and only acts when every condition lines up.
Designed and tuned for NASDAQ (NQ / MNQ / NAS100) and Gold (XAUUSD), with dedicated preset files for each market.
How it works — the model sequence:
- H1 Bias — The EA first reads the higher-timeframe direction (H1 EMA structure + price). It only looks for longs when H1 is bullish and shorts when H1 is bearish, keeping every trade aligned with the dominant flow.
- Liquidity Sweep — It waits for price to raid a relevant level: a recent swing, the previous day's high/low (PDH/PDL), or the session high/low (Asia). This is where liquidity rests.
- Market Structure Shift (MSS) — After the sweep, it requires a confirmed close that breaks short-term structure in the opposite direction. Confirmation on close, no guessing.
- Displacement — The breaking candle must be impulsive (body greater than a configurable multiple of ATR), filtering weak, low-conviction moves.
- FVG Entry — The EA waits for price to retrace into the Fair Value Gap left by the displacement, giving a better entry price and a tighter stop. Optionally, it can enter on the MSS close instead.
- Liquidity Target — The take-profit is placed at the nearest opposing liquidity (PDH/PDL, Asia high/low, or Equal Highs/Lows). If no clear liquidity exists, it falls back to a configurable risk/reward target.
Trade & risk management:
- Automatic position sizing based on a percentage of account balance per trade.
- Structural stop-loss placed beyond the sweep, with an ATR buffer.
- Partial close (50%) at 1R and stop moved to breakeven on the remainder.
- Maximum-bars-in-trade safety exit and one-trade-at-a-time control.
On-chart dashboard & live stats:
A clean panel shows the current H1 bias, the live state of each setup (waiting sweep → swept → FVG armed → entry), key liquidity levels (PDH/PDL, Asia, EQH/EQL), ATR, and a live performance summary (P&L, win rate, profit factor, trades, current streak).
Recommended use:
- Symbols: NASDAQ (NQ / MNQ / NAS100) and Gold (XAUUSD)
- Timeframe: M5 (the model is calibrated for 5-minute charts; M15 presets also included)
- Every parameter is fully configurable; ready-to-load .set files are provided for each market.
- Note for Gold: confirm your broker's exact symbol name and set the GMT offset correctly so the session logic aligns.
