Brand Trend System
Brand Trend System is a clean, transparent trend-following EA based on the Bollinger Band breakout methodology
How it works
- Entry: When the closing price breaks above the upper Bollinger Band, the EA opens a long position. When it breaks below the lower band, it opens a short. The standard-deviation-based channel naturally adapts to each instrument’s volatility — no per-symbol tuning required.
- Exit: “Let the trend run, Exit at the mean” approach was chosen because it consistently outperformed hard stops and trailing stops in extensive backtesting.
- Position Sizing: Each trade is sized by a dual-constraint formula — risk-amount method capped by a margin-safety method. Your account grows, your lots grow. Your account draws down, your lots shrink. Compounding is built in.
