Product Overview

ICT Liquidity Zones Pro is a professional-grade trading indicator for MetaTrader 5 that implements institutional trading concepts derived from the Inner Circle Trader (ICT) methodology. This tool provides traders with a comprehensive suite of liquidity detection, fair value gap analysis, session mapping, and market structure tools typically used by institutional traders.

Key Features

Supply and Demand Zones

The indicator automatically identifies and draws institutional supply and demand zones based on daily price levels. Zones are extended by a user-defined percentage of the daily range and can be displayed with configurable opacity and border widths. Each zone receives a quality rating (A+, A, B, C) based on touch count, reaction size, freshness, and distance from current price.

Fair Value Gaps (FVG)

Automated detection of bullish and bearish fair value gaps across the chart. The scanner identifies price gaps where the market has left an imbalance, which often act as magnets for future price action. Users can configure lookback periods and customize colors for each gap type.

Liquidity Pool Detection

The indicator identifies buy-side and sell-side liquidity pools by detecting equal highs and equal lows within a configurable lookback period. These levels represent areas where stop-loss orders accumulate and often serve as targets for institutional order flow before price reversals.

Trading Session Zones

Automatically draws rectangles for London, New York, and Asian trading sessions with configurable colors. The indicator can also display session highs and lows, providing context for intraday price action within each major trading session.

Institutional Decision Zones

Four decision zone calculation methods are available:

  • Midpoint (PDH + PDL)/2

  • Pivot (PDH + PDL + Close)/3

  • Fibonacci 50% retracement

  • OTE 62%-79% optimal trade entry zone

Premium Weekly and Monthly Levels

The indicator displays previous week high (PWH), previous week low (PWL), previous month high (PMH), and previous month low (PML) with independent visibility toggles. These levels serve as key institutional reference points.

Smart Market Bias Engine

A weighted scoring system determines overall market bias using:

  • Position relative to PDH and PDL (30% weight)

  • RSI value (25% weight)

  • Position relative to decision zone (25% weight)

  • Daily candle structure (20% weight)

Bias output includes five states: Strong Bullish, Bullish, Neutral, Bearish, and Strong Bearish, displayed with percentage confidence.

Professional Dashboard

A comprehensive information panel displays:

  • Current market bias with color coding

  • PDH, PDL, PWH, PWL, PMH, PML levels

  • ATR and RSI values

  • Current spread

  • Active trading session

The dashboard is movable, resizable, and supports light and dark themes.

Dynamic Price Line

The current price line changes color based on price direction - blue for upward movement, orange-red for downward movement, providing immediate visual feedback of recent price action.

Multi-Timeframe Support

While primarily designed for daily levels, the indicator works seamlessly across all timeframes, with the decision zone and bias calculations adaptable to the selected timeframe.

Alert System

Comprehensive alert capabilities include:

  • Popup alerts

  • Sound alerts

  • Push notifications to mobile devices

  • Email alerts

Alert triggers include zone entry, zone break, FVG touch, liquidity sweep, bias change, and session open.

Theme Support

The indicator includes light and dark themes that can be applied without modifying your chart permanently. When disabled, the indicator respects and preserves your existing chart color settings, preventing the common issue of chart blackouts or invisible elements.

Performance Optimizations

Decision Zone Settings - Select calculation method, line color, and width

PDH/PDL Settings - Toggle visibility and customize colors for daily high and low levels

Premium Levels - Independent toggles and colors for weekly and monthly levels

FVG Settings - Lookback period and color customization for fair value gaps

Liquidity Settings - Lookback period and color customization for liquidity pools

Installation

Copy the ICT_Liquidity_Zones.ex5 file to the Indicators folder of your MetaTrader 5 installation. Attach to any chart from the Navigator window or via the Insert menu.
