🧠 The market isn’t chaotic. It’s not random. It’s cyclical.
Here’s what I’ve learned over 15 years of trading:
Markets move in phases.
In one phase, everything’s calm.
Prices stay within a tight range. The market holds steady.
That’s when mean-reversion strategies shine.
They work like clockwork: enter → exit → profit.
Then something shifts.
And it usually starts off the charts —
geopolitics, interest rates, or changing economic expectations.
That’s the start of a crisis phase.
Trends take over.
Mean-reversion systems stop working.
Not because they’re broken — but because they’re no longer in sync with the market.
That’s why these strategies blow up.
They keep trading, unaware the phase has already changed.
📌 My old NorthEastWay EA performed beautifully during the stable phase from 2020 to 2022.
But in the fall of 2022, that phase ended.
And I realized something critical:

Yesterday, my all-time favorite MQL5 signal – LittleCrazyWay MT5 – blew up. This is a big loss for me.
Signals are my passion. I truly love my signal accounts – much more than the money sitting in them – because a signal needs to be properly nurtured. When I create a signal, I build a whole life concept around it.

Markets were so stunned by his announcement that they barely moved for almost a full day. That window was more than enough to stop all my EAs – especially the ones not built for trading in crisis conditions.
Is today’s market a crisis market? Absolutely. Trump’s tariffs are set to reshape global trade, which means they’ll shake the entire global financial system. And the markets are afraid – for good reason. There’s real concern that this could push the world into recession. On Thursday's close, the S&P 500 index dropped significantly. Had it fallen just 0.5% more, my EAs would have triggered the volatility filter and shut down trading automatically.
But here we are. The reality is simple: pullback-based systems shouldn’t be trading in a crisis market. If they do – they blow up.

Да отличный у вас и сигнал и советник, жаль только, МТ4 перестали обновлять. У меня тоже на "факторе Трампа" слился, и тоже вижу, что сам виноват, надо было остановить торговлю, возможность была, но как-то не подумал. Но до этого 2.5 года торговля шла успешно этим роботом, и это показатель!
