для какого стиля торговли оптимальные ?
многое зависит от стиля торговли, рисков, размера депозита, брокера, торгового инструмента и его волатильности и т.д.

on my FX-Pro Demo Account it does not open anything. Just shows the panel on the upper left, no error message, nothing in Journal.

Not doing anything in tester, either... Any advice?

Well, I'm attaching the EA to a Chart or start the tester with the EA selected. After that, the tester will run through the testing period but the EA is not opening any positions or limit/stop orders. The behaviour is identical with standard or changed paramters. No matter what time I'm setting. Funds in the tester are sufficient and the journal states, that the EA was loaded successfully. 
Was that detailed enough? :)
