Work on the account maintained in manual or automatic mode, depending on the market situation. Account used for debugging and testing of the system in real conditions. The system is not optimized in the strategy tester, all the values for the settings were obtained by studying the behavior in the history of the currency pair over a period of 3 years and was used to trade in the account. All data are processed manually due to the particular currency pairs.
any real account monitoring?
I backtested the EA with TDS 99% modelling from 2013-Jan forward. Using the posted M15 preset on the EURJPY pair, default dukscopy data. First I noticed that the EA has no SL but I let it continue anyway. Second after entering few trades on 2013-01-09 (see Algorithmic_BT1 screenshot open last trade) I noticed that the EA did not close these positions timely in a day or so. I let the EA continue backtesting and I noticed that even after more than a MONTH (2013-02-11) the trades are still opened! (see Algorithmic_BT2 screenshot). At this point I stopped the backtest. My conclusion is that this is a 'enter a pray' type EA where positions are opened by the EA and the price is expected to revert somewhat to the mean.. if it does not then the EA keeps the positions open indefinitely possibly blowing the account or until the user closes positions manually. I recommend that the seller revises the code and adds SL to the EA so that positions are closed in a loss when needed.

I gave myself that the current setting has been used for several months, a number of other options for 2013. You have an open transaction 2013.01.09 immediately after the New Year holidays in the days of low activity and chaotic movements are not predictable, answer yourself, you would become a real trading account immediately after the new year. Try to make a test 2013.02.01 or after NFP

LOL.. if I knew when to trade and when not to trade -- I would be a millionaire by now!! This is the point of a good EA - it filters bad trades out for you no?

The test with the same settings for each individual month shows more accurate data on the profit and loss than just run for 2 years. Dough excluded Christmas and New Year holidays. Profit / loss was recorded at the end of the month. These factors contributed to improved performance and more accurately correspond to real trade, as tested over a longer period can not be interrupted.
