Hi, thank you for your message and for purchasing the EA.

The difference you are seeing is mainly due to market conditions.

My backtest was done starting from early 2025, when gold was around $2,600.
At the moment, gold has moved to much higher levels and volatility has increased significantly.

This EA is a grid-based system, so it requires enough price space to operate safely.
When the market becomes more volatile and moves faster, a small balance like $1,000 may not be sufficient to handle the drawdown.

For current market conditions, I recommend:

• Using a higher balance (around $5,000 for standard accounts), or
• Using a CENT account if you want to start with smaller capital

Also, please make sure:

• Your broker conditions (spread, leverage) are similar
• You are using the recommended settings

Grid systems depend heavily on market structure and volatility, so results can vary between different time periods.

Developer is awesome, very friendly and reachable on any query.

Sadly this Supergrid is not performing as expected. Strangely its creating more loss by creating orders in both sides (Buy & Sell) and forget about profit making, that loss would recover only when the trend happens could be in days or weeks time :-). 

Keeping this post so others may benefit and buy only if their use case is specific.

Après avoir testé ce bot quelque temps, je me suis rendu compte qu'il va d'office cramer le compte en 1 jour si le capital est sous les 200 $. Entre 200 $ et 500 $, le compte sautera en 3 jours, 4 avec de la chance. Quelqu'un d'autre l'a testé avec des résultats différents ?

Sinon, est-ce que le dev peut limiter le nombre de trades ajoutés à partir du 5ème ? Même si dans mes tests il n'ouvre que 4 ou 5 trades en plus après le 5ème, j'aimerais bien pouvoir contrôler ce nombre exact de trades supplémentaires. C'est possible ?

Bonjour, je pense que l'application gagnerait en sécurité avec l'ajout d'une option de « limite de perte totale ». J'espère que cette fonctionnalité sera intégrée dans les prochaines mises à jour.
