Thank you for your message. There is not a coding mistake in this case.

Most of the strategy components in Gold Goblin EA are intentionally designed to capitalize primarily on long opportunities. Because of that, there can be periods where the EA remains quiet, especially during extended pullbacks or weaker phases in Gold price action. That behavior is normal for this system.

There is also nothing wrong with placing the EA on standby or disabling it temporarily if market conditions are not favorable and you would prefer not to let it attempt weaker short-side participation. In many cases, patience is the better approach for this type of system.

That said, if you are not fully satisfied with the current structure and would prefer Gold Goblin EA to have a more balanced approach with stronger sell-side participation, let me know in a private message.
