I really like the idea and functionality of this EA, but there is a serious issue with settings persistence.

After every MT5 restart, the EA resets my template settings to default values.
Even when I save the settings and reload them using .set files, the template configurations are not restored. This makes it extremely frustrating to work with, especially when using custom Open/Modify/Close templates.

The EA seems to use an internal GUI/settings system that overrides saved input parameters on initialization, which means hours of configuration are lost after a restart.

Please fix the settings saving/loading logic or clearly document how template settings are supposed to persist.
In its current state, this behavior makes the EA unreliable for daily trading use.

I have just performed a rigorous test involving multiple terminal restarts, and I can confirm that GUI settings are preserved and restored correctly.

To help you get the best experience, let me clarify how the Save/Load logic works in this EA: The EA uses a dual-input system for maximum flexibility:

1. F7 Inputs: These are for your initial configuration.

2. GUI Settings: These are dynamic. Once you edit a template or setting on the screen, that data is saved and bound to the specific Chart instance itself.

Why this matters:

• Restarting MT5: Since the chart is reloaded, the EA retrieves the saved data from the chart, and your settings remain intact.

• Closing the Chart: This is the only scenario where GUI settings are reset, as the chart instance (and its attached data) is destroyed.

It seems you might be expecting the .set files to capture the live changes made on the GUI. However, the GUI data lives on the chart to ensure stability.

Please try this: Make your edits on the GUI, then restart the terminal without closing the chart tab. You will see that all your configurations are restored perfectly.

thank you very much for your detailed explanation and the video. I’ve now found the issue on my side – everything is working as expected. The software / bot is really great, well done 👍

I just have one more question regarding the Telegram signal formatting.

As you can see in my screenshot, the signals in Telegram (entry, updates, close, etc.) are working perfectly. However, I wanted to ask if it is possible to customize the layout of the message a bit.

For example:

• After Price, I would like the SL to be shown directly underneath

• Then the TP underneath the SL

For Update messages, ideally:

• SL under the Update line

• TP under the SL

And for Closed messages:

• First the Close price

• Under that the Lot size

• Under that the Entry

• Then the Exit

• And finally the Profit

Is there any setting or configuration option that allows this kind of structured / stacked formatting in the Telegram messages?

The Smart Line-Break with the tilde is a great solution and works exactly as I had envisioned. The new default settings are also spot on.
