Note about set files:
I don’t provide set files for this EA. This is a versatile “jack of all trades” EA that I personally use across multiple symbols — not just forex, but also assets like VICI, SOFI, and even gold on a cent account. Every broker and account has different spreads and conditions, so there’s no universal setfile that works for everyone.

If you’re serious about using this EA, take the time to understand the strategy and adjust the settings to fit your specific account and trading style. And hey — if you find a good setup, feel free to share it here in the comments to help others too!

I note default has max trades = 3. 

What happens if the trades continue to go the wrong way? Is there a SL?

Hi, Just completed an optimized backtest for XAUUSD.

I only share the top setfiles, the rest, just change this parameter:

  1. MPeriod = Trend Stability
  2. Step = ATR retracement step
  3. TPATR = ATR tp ratio

Current ea tested & trade in 20m timeframe. Note: The EA utilizes the timeframes coded in the advisor's code, changing view timeframe wont affect the EA, and the indicator is invisible while ea attached in real trading, so you might need to attach the indicator manually for view purpose.

If you want to view the ea trading action with seperate indicator use in this ea (Moving Average & ATR), you might want to change the trading timeframe to what available on mt5. 


This is the setting of the backtesting:


If you expecting the smoothest result like the screenshoots, you might need to optimize the TP, SL, TSLt, & TSLd input, by setting a bigger distance for your SL and smaller the distace of TP.

I must admit that I am still waiting for the first trade by WhisCats EA , but did lots of BT and ..It looks great , and one thing is only missing -> Auto lot  . I thank you Wesley ,for your EA, but the most that you approach it really professional , and huge support , although you share it for FREE ! (you could charge us at least $$$ for license).. BUT, if it's good as on Backtest , you Wesley and all users ,will be in big profit after just a year..I hope that your next version will have Auto Lot input..

It’s actually a swing trade EA based on a YouTube idea I found, and just part of my personal experiment. But cool that you find it useful!

Auto lot sizing is a good idea — I might add that in the next update. Appreciate the feedback!

Why not design a money management module for this EA? The automatic lot sizing is quite unreasonable, though the EA itself is very good.
