I thought it may be worthwhile explaining a little more about how the calculation algorithm works for this indicator.
The vast majority of pivot indicators use Daily, Weekly or Monthly HLC (High, Low and Close) data which is taken from the MT4 chart history.
This in fact leads to inaccuracies in the pivot calculations as the HLC data will differ between MT4 platforms depending on the server time in relationship to GMT.
I've attached a file which compares some free pivot indicators to our versions and you can see there are some pretty major inaccuracies which are due to the variance in HLC data.
There is also a screenshot from the Mataf.net website which is a known authority for accurate pivot data. Note our indicator's central pivot is 0.5 pips from the published Mataf level. There will always be a small amount of variance between published levels and locally derived levels - However this will normally be only 1-2 pips max. If your pivot software is producing inaccurate levels which are several pips out from the levels professional traders are viewing - you don't really stand much of a chance!
The way to overcome this problem is to use HOURLY data for the pivot calculations and then to allow the trader to shift the calculation window so that it can be tuned to synchronise the pivot calculation with the timeframe you are trading in.
So in simple terms, if you are looking to trade the London open you should be using a daily pivot calculation starting at 00:00 GMT the previous day. Therefore if your trading platform is running at GMT +2 you need to retard your pivot calculation by 2 hours to synchronise with GMT.
So in summary, all the FX AlgoTrader pivot systems use hourly chart data as a basis for their calculations... the upshot is the trader gets highly accurate, customizeable pivots which are fit for purpose.
The indicators which we market on the MQL5 Market are all based on the Version 3 FX AlgoTrader systems which have been developed iteratively over the last 6 years based on client feedback. The MQL5 market versions have been rebuilt especially and are not available from us directly. Some of you may be interested to note the list price of these indicators was substantially more when we were marketing them directly. So at $10 we think these products represent excellent value based on their proven track record within our customer base.
A note on how we like to do business with our customers....
We very much pride ourselves on customer support and we always aim to develop better products which meet the needs of our customer base. If customers or potential customers have change requests which add to the overall functionality of our tools - and they are within the scope of the product - we will most often code these in to the existing versions and supply them free of charge to all current license holders. So if you have any ideas for how to improve the Daily Pivots Indicator please don't hesitate to send us a message. We give every reasonable request proper consideration.

The alerts aren't working!
I'm getting alerts from JPY pairs (more than I should) but no alerts from the other pairs.
The coding needs updating.
Visually everything is great but I bought specifically for the alerts

Hi sorry for the delay - there's no reason the code only works for JPY pairs. You can adjust the alert frequency easily by changing the minimum interval between alerts. what are you experiencing with non JPY pairs?
