El Expert Advisor EmbajadoresEA se basa en el uso de medias móviles exponenciales con el mismo periodo pero con rangos de precio distintos (máximo-mínimo). Este EA no utiliza ninguna señal de compra o venta, simplemente abre una posición de compra y venta de forma rotatoria y modifica sus parámetros de acuerdo a las medias móviles calculadas. Así mismo, utiliza niveles stop loss y monitoreo de posiciones en tiempo real para determinar el cierre de una posición. En este caso, después de que una posición es cerrada, otra es abierta en el sentido contrario.

Los resultados obtenidos con este EA indican que produce los mejores resultados con el par GBP/USD en un gráfico diario con tamaños de posición de 0.1 lotes. Tal parece que es estable y rentable a largo plazo, sin embargo presenta el problema de que efectúa muy pocas operaciones al año. Por eso, una recomendación es emplear su estrategia para realizar trading manual (si se emplea adecuadamente la estrategia puede brindar ganancias constantes a largo plazo) en vez de utilizarlo como un EA automático.

  • Utiliza niveles de stop loss y take profit variables. El promedio de ganancias por cada posición ganadora es de 1750 pips mientras que el promedio para las posiciones perdedoras es de 250 pips.

  • Durante una serie de pruebas en un gráfico diario del GBP/USD abrió en promedio solo 4 posiciones al año.
