Hi, i've been backtesting this ea and it's doing good but.....sometimes there occure huge losses and it seems that the EA itself set it's own stoploss ratio for each deal nomatter what i set in the stoploss input! Somethings not right cause i want to be able to set my own personal stoploss. Please check this out or i am doing
something wrong?

Hi, Kenneth !!! Thank you for your feedback.. sorry for my late reply - i just saw your post... 

Well...  the stops should work... if you left it zero, no stops will be placed at all...

If your broker works on a 5 digit basis, then 1 pip = 10 points

So, if you want a 20 pips stop (for example), ou should set the stop as 200 (assuming a 5-digit broker)

Hello !! This EA was designed to work on trending markets - the best timeframe on my opinion is the Daily.

I did two simples backtests (99% modelling quality) from 04-07-2010 up to 04-12-2017 on GBPUSD and EURUSD both on Daily chart in an 10k account

I changed those parameters only:

Order Type - LONG & SHORT

Trade Volume - 0.5

Trailing Stop - 150

All other parameters I left untouched... Both backtests yields impressive results:


EURUSD: 134.4% return with 8.96% DD

GBPUSD:  99.32% return with 22.35% DD


If we combine both pair (in a portfolio), the results are even better:

Portfolio (EURUSD + GBPUSD): 234.16% return with 15.75% DD

I plotted an equity curve graph, so you can check the portfolio against the pairs alone:



You can optimize parameters to match the best configuration of the actual market or find other pairs to trade as well. I just did those two simple backtests to show you the strategy potentials... however, keep in mind that past results does not guarantee future profits...
