Hi folks!
Here's a robot that safely trades different market conditions.
I have been working on this robot for years, but decided not to put it out until I was sure it was stable enough and market-adaptable enough to suit any market condition (even extreme ones such as COVID).
The robot consists of 5 trading strategies which utilise methods such as day-trading, higher timeframe scalping, mean-reversion, trading session tracking, price action analysis, trend trading and range trading. I have done this so that the robot stands a better chance of making money regardless of market conditions.
Of course, the robot does not make money daily - no robot does in reality (and I know this from my 13 years trading). However, like any other genuine robot, it stands a higher chance of being profitable long term - which is how manual trading is in reality.
This robot trades multiple symbols and timeframes, and these have already been set. Please only adjust these symbols to suit your broker's offering, but do not add new symbols, as these might not have been tested. You can remove symbols if you so wish.
Please note that this robot -
- Does NOT use Martingale strategies
- Is NOT a grid trading robot
- Does NOT utilise Neural Networks or AI (In the trading world, these are sometimes just marketing terms)
There are not too many adjustable settings on this robot and the recommended parameters have already been set in the Inputs tab. I strongly recommend using the recommended "Risk_Percent" settings or lower. However, you can change them if you wish.
ROBOT PARAMETERS/SETTINGS:
NewYork5PM: Set this to your broker's equivalent of 5PM New York time
London8AM: Set this to your broker's equivalent of 8AM London Time
ActivateStrategy_1: Set this to "true" to activate this strategy
RiskPercent_Strategy_1: Set this to the percentage of your account you intend to risk per strategy_1 trade
InstrumentList_Strategy_1: List symbols that will be traded by this strategy. Symbols should be in CAPS and separated by a comma
ActivateStrategy_2: Set this to "true" to activate this strategy
RiskPercent_Strategy_2: Set this to the percentage of your account you intend to risk per strategy_2 trade
InstrumentList_Strategy_2: List symbols that will be traded by this strategy. Symbols should be in CAPS and separated by a comma
ActivateStrategy_3: Set this to "true" to activate this strategy
RiskPercent_Strategy_3: Set this to the percentage of your account you intend to risk per strategy_3 trade
InstrumentList_Strategy_3: List symbols that will be traded by this strategy. Symbols should be in CAPS and separated by a comma
ActivateStrategy_4: Set this to "true" to activate this strategy
RiskPercent_Strategy_4: Set this to the percentage of your account you intend to risk per strategy_4 trade

ActivateStrategy_5: Set this to "true" to activate this strategy
RiskPercent_Strategy_5: Set this to the percentage of your account you intend to risk per strategy_5 trade

MaxDrawdownAllowed_Percent: Should things go south, this is the percentage drawdown(based on the current balance), at which all trades will be closed and further trading will be stopped. This is set to 100% (disabled) by default. But feel free to amend it as desired. However, please note that if it is set too low, it will automatically close trades in a loss before they reach their target.

| Symbols Traded | Please ensure all the symbols listed in the InstrumentList(1-5) input fields are added to your trading terminal's Market Watch list. If not, the robot will not be able to trade the relevant symbols. Symbols traded are: AUDCAD,AUDJPY,AUDNZD,AUDCHF,CADJPY,CHFJPY,CADCHF,EURAUD,EURUSD,EURCAD,EURGBP,EURCHF,EURNZD,GBPUSD,GBPJPY,NZDCHF,USDJPY,USDCHF,XAUUSD,BTCUSD,UK100,US30,F40,JP225 |
| Account Type | Preferably ECN, but other types will work too, provided the spreads are low and the Leverage is 1:100 or higher |
| Timeframe | M1. The robot trades multiple timeframes. However it is preferable to attach it to a 1 Minute chart |
| Minimum Deposit | 1000$ |
| Can this robot work with other robots? | Yes. However it preferably should be deployed on its own. |
| RiskPercent | It is strongly recommended that you don't increase this value for each strategy. It is ok to reduce it, as this ensures lower risk. Also note that the actual loss per trade will not always be limited to the percentage set. This is because some of the strategies are "basket" strategies, meaning that multiple trades can be running simultaneously (regardless of the risk percentage set), until the conditions for trade closure are met (whether or not the trades are in profit) |
| InstrumentList (1-5) | These are the symbols traded by each strategy. You can modify them to suit your broker's offering, but do not add new symbols. They should be entered in CAPS |
| Leverage | Preferably 1:100 and above (Ideally 1:500) |
