Excessive RAM consumption

I have an excessive consumption of ram memory, when it gets full memory is created in the solid state unit.

I have a ryzen 5 3600 and 16gb of ram, in the worst case I have seen 26gb of confirmed memory and practically full.

I would like to know if there is any way that the program does not consume so much ram. and when you detect that there is a lot of memory consumption do not add new tasks until the memory is freed.

I have bought more ram memory. To expand to 32gb of ram. To see if the problem is solved a bit.
