Opening an TST file in/with Excel

Hello, I cannot open the TST file with Excel. I can open an OPT file with Excel after converting. Does anybody know how to open after converting in some form? I would like to be able to go into the file to analysis the shape of the trades at various periods. thanks, and regards

slow down visual mode in MT5

Hello, In MT4 there is an adjustable bar for the speed when wanting to visual an EA, when/so to verify the inputs and outcomes. In MT5 I cannot find a similar tool and it only gives one speed. Can anybody expand on this? thanks for any help, G

MT5 vs MT4, EA optimise testing.

I don't have any confidence in MT5 testing and always go back to MT4 testing. Is anybody else of the same view or am I'm doing something wrong? My preferred platform is MT5. regards G

Manual Trade zero magic number

Add Magic number to manually opened trades

Hello, Below is the Magic Number column with both numbers and blanks. The blanks are because I manually open trades. Ideally what I would like to do now, is fill the blanks with the same Magic Number so the EA can recognise/pickup these trades. Thanks, if anybody can help

MT5 live Platforms all disconnected

Hello, I have 3 live account on MT5 which disconnected all at once. I have a MT4 live account which did not disconnect. All the other MT5 & 4 demo accounts stayed connected I reconnected manually, first only slow connections but it found the fast connections auto. All platforms have the latest

Meta Trader 4 support

Hello, I use both 4 and 5 but still want to use MT 4. Because MT4 is not supported, is it going to be eventually a problem for us ? It is better for me using MT4 because it is not asking me to update, with 5 I can work around it, if it is due to be restarted. Does the MT5 restart on the Virtual
