Has anyone had an issue with positions being opened at prices different from the displayed Bid and Ask prices?


We don't see when you click the BUY button, isn't that just a delay in the execution ?

Is that a real or demo account ?

What your broker said about that ?

It's tough to see what exactly is going on in the grainy video. The prices in the Market Watch window are a bit blurry, and I can't see your order/position types.

More generally, low liquidity can cause such execution slippage─especially when trading CFD's. There is no centralized retail CFD market/exchange/global liquidity pool. You're basically trading against "the house."

A real ECN account. It opens positions for me immediately after pressing buy. I also bought a VPS server on MT5, and it makes no difference. The problem isn't random; it happens every time I open and close a position. I don't have these problems on my private account with the same broker. So it's clearly the broker's fault. Broker's response: I've been fighting with them since the beginning of the month. I can't say which broker it is, or my post will be deleted from the forum.

This only happens on my business account; everything is fine on my private account. The staff doesn't see that I've broken any of their rules or regulations.

It seems there using different data stream to fill your orders than the one for the chart. 

It's only an hypothesis, hopefully they will answer you clearly soon.

Open prices should not be based on arrows. There are issues with them which are reported many times in the forum. You should check the MT5 History to conclude that your open prices are actually different from the Bid/Ask price and its line on the chart.

There is not know issue currently with trade "arrows" on the chart.

Anyway, if the OP is right about "open immediately after pressing buy", the video shows clearly the problem from bid/ask lines and OHLC prices. Arrows have nothing to do with that.

The time frame doesn't matter. Here's a video of me opening at a bad price and closing a position on a positive note. Ultimately, the historical record is negative.

The issue has NOTHING to do with arrows on the chart or timeframe !

W każdym razie, jeśli PO ma rację co do "otwór i natychmiast po naciśnięciu kupna", wideo pokazuje wyraźnie problem z linii bid / ask i cen OHLC. Strzały nie mają z tym nic wspólnego.

He opens positions at a higher price, and there's no problem with the bin/ask lines because everything works fine on the other account with the same broker. Changing currencies doesn't help either.

Can a broker earn more this way?
