Changing an Existing Product's Name on the MQL5 Market

Hello,

I would like to change the name of my product on the MQL5 Market. I have read in another forum post that I should hide the existing product and then publish it again with the new name.

The MQL5 rules also state that duplicate products are not allowed.

Could someone please clarify the correct procedure for renaming an existing product without violating the Market rules?

There is one thread with few posts (Can one change a market product name?) with two decisions proposed (write to the market moderator or hide the product) but I think that it is not possible to change so I agree with Daniel Stein

I don't think so.

‌IMHO the product name a unique identifier in the market and can not be changed.

Anyway, you can ask the advice on the Market moderator or on the service desk for example (because I personally do not have experience with that sorry).

Thanks for the reply friend, i will keep the old name just to be on the safe side.
