Urgent: Critical Bug in MT5 Demo Server Caused Account Blowout

I have been testing my trading strategy on an MT5 demo account for the past three months, and the testing had been running smoothly until last night, when the account was unexpectedly blown due to what appears to be a critical bug.

As shown in the attached evidence, my GBPUSD trades were closed at abnormal prices of 671.08992 and 0.0001, which are clearly incorrect market prices.

This issue has invalidated three months of testing and wasted a significant amount of time and effort. I kindly request that you investigate and fix this issue on your demo servers as soon as possible to prevent similar incidents from affecting other users.

Please treat this matter seriously, as accurate and reliable demo server execution is essential for strategy development and testing.

if you searched this site then you would find that the mq server is notoreously unreliable. do not use it for trading or data analysis. it is for testing of the mt5 program only, not for trading.

The charts, the price on the charts, the symbols to trade, and the names of the symbols, and the time of the price on the chart - all of them are related to the brokers only.
So, if you want to trade some symbol so you should find the broker which is allowing this symbol for traders (because it is nothing to do with Metatrader platform application at all).

Find Metatrader broker (there are a lot of Metatrader brokers, use google to find), and open the account according to their condition on their websites.
Try with demo first.

How much time to resolve this issue?
Even the live data seem broken, perhaps they use same backend.

wow. what do you not understand? do not use mq demo server. use a demo account from a broker.

All the data is related to the brokers only (it is not related to Metatrader at all).
And MetaQuotes (for MetaQuotes-Demo account/server) is not a broker (MetaQuotes-Demo is not used for trading/testing etc).

So, ask your broker for support to fix the data.

Why should he ask his broker to fix the live data in official Metatrader site?Check the attached picture again that is official Metatrader website showing GBP USD down 99.23 percent.

Official MetaQuotes-Demo server is not used for trading and testing of the EAs. So, it is not very important about what website is showing with quotes.
Because it is mostly used to update MT5 to the new beta build and to test beta builds.

Of course - I agree with you that it should be fixed ... but if not so - not a problem at all.

No attached picture.

As far as I can see, it has already been fixed.
