I am trying to publish a free open-source Expert Advisor to CodeBase and I am stuck at the "Code" step, which stays at 20%.
The requirement "At least one screenshot is required with dimensions up to 750x500" does not clear. I have attached a PNG screenshot of 700x467 pixels, and I also tried 750x500. The MQ5 file requirement cleared normally, so the attachments themselves are uploading correctly.
From reading the forum I understand the screenshot has to be inserted into the description body using the editor's image button, not only attached as a file. My editor toolbar has no image button - I have lists, indent, link, unlink, table, code, font, bold, italic, underline and alignment, but no image control. I also tried inserting the image with raw HTML through the HTML view, and the img tag was removed when saving.
I understand this control may depend on profile rating, and my account is new.
Could someone advise what is needed to unlock image insertion, or whether an attached screenshot can be accepted for this submission?
For context, the code is a risk management utility. It does not open trades at all - it applies a stop loss to positions that have none, closes positions when a daily loss or maximum drawdown limit is reached, and handles breakeven and trailing stops. It is free, full source is included, and it contains no links or promotional content. It compiles with 0 errors and 0 warnings in MetaEditor.
