We also must consider the natural cycle of strategy development and EA coding. Rarely, if ever, does a coder set out to code a profitable EA and then successfully does so right away. In reality, a heap of junk code, or mediocre code at best, is initially developed. If repeated attempts to refine such code are, in and of themselves, mediocre at best, the EA is relegated to the scrap pile even though the coder spent hours, days, or weeks in development... unless the coder happens to be a Seller. Just work up some fancy cover art and a description with AI─boom! Lipstick on a pig. The scam turns wasted time into sale proceeds. It's no wonder that some Sellers have dozens of EA's for sale.
And of course, the Seller's real deal profitable EA remains private... if it even exists.
