Connection issue with mql5.com from specific networks

I am experiencing a network connectivity issue regarding the website https://www.mql5.com . Please find the details of the problem below:
  • Problem: The website is completely inaccessible from my home network and another specific local network.
  • Symptoms: The page times out or shows a connection error. Furthermore, multiple machines on the second affected network fail to connect to the MQL5 cloud services.
  • Testing done:
    • The website works perfectly fine when using a mobile data connection (hotspot).
    • The issue persists across multiple devices on the affected networks.
It appears to be a routing, DNS, or firewall blocking issue on these specific networks rather than a problem with the website itself.
Could you please check if there is any IP blocking, DNS resolution failure, or firewall restriction on your end preventing access to mql5.com and its cloud infrastructure?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Balazs

MQL5: язык торговых стратегий для MetaTrader 5, позволяет писать собственные торговые роботы, технические индикаторы, скрипты и библиотеки функций

I am unable to access mql5.com or connect to the MQL5 cloud services from my home network and local office network.
  • Error message: ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR in the browser.
  • Diagnostics: A traceroute to mql5.com completes successfully to your IP ( 194.164.179.31 ), meaning there is no routing issue.
  • Isolation: The website works perfectly as soon as I connect via a VPN or use mobile data.
It appears that our public IP addresses have been flagged or blacklisted by your firewall/security system (e.g., Cloudflare or custom WAF rule), causing the HTTP/2 connection to drop immediately.
Could you please check your firewall logs for my IP range and remove the restriction? I can provide my current public IP address upon request.
Thank you,
Balazs

And will reply here if i m able to resume with logging in and accessing the site normally again, without the vpn. Cause i tired turning the vpn off, and when i tried logging in using my actual account, it gave me the same error message. Then turning them back on, and try logging in again, without the vpn

After that - check this summary blog post with all possible reasons described (with VPS or without VPS - any):

Many traders are using MQL5 VPS , and this VPS is having a lot of advantadges, for example - the traders do not lose activations when they  migrate/synhronize their MT4/MT5 environment to MQL5

After that - do the following command -

C:\WINDOWS\system32>tracert www.mql5.com

C:\WINDOWS\system32>tracert c.mql5.com

C:\WINDOWS\system32>tracert download.mql5.com

... and send the results (as the image) to the service desk asking their advice (about it was block from MQL5 server or not).

Did you check host file, and you were reading this blog post about all possible reasons for this error, right?
Summary: Installation Failed - Error 403 and more

As to tracert so you do not need to post the results for me (and for the forum here) - because I am not checking and I am not fixing. Besides, most of the errors came from the users' computers and their networks according to the posts on the forum sorry.

---------------------

You can write to the service desk asking their advice ... but I want to repeat: most of such the errors did not come from mql5 servers at all (according to the posts on the forum about this/similar errors).
