Hi,

Wonder if someone can help..

(Currently using google to login here and post this message). I registered and never received the email for the password - I've tried the reset password and still don't receive the email. I've checked junk folder etc. even the webmail for my email host.

I've also tried with my gmail account and same thing. Never got the password email.

Tried using the contacts and requests but the chat bot just sends you round in circles - is there any real person to contact?

I've also tried using two different web browsers to submit the 'forgot password' reset.

I tried searching this forum and seems this comes up now again but I couldn't seem to find a resolution.

You can read this short thread about how one user with same issue fixed it ... he had complicated situation because he had two usernames  (and two emails) separated from each other ... but anyway - he fixed it:

There is no google login in mt5 so i don t know the password. When i reset password in mql5 web, it sends it to my email and if i log in mt5 it takes me to my account. Don t use your google email to login into your mql5 account in mt5, use your ebambrose login in mt5 t use email, i use ebambrose but i don t know the password because the account was created with google login in 2022

But I have a very simple problem where I don't receive the reset password emails, either to my own domain or a google one. I'm not sure what else I can do.

The user in that link above is receiving emails when requesting to reset, I'm not - nothing happens.

I'm logged in here now since it uses Google to log in and not the MQL5 side.

I can't login here or using MetaTrader5 on Desktop.

Any other suggestions?

So, your username is benmcc1 because the link to your profile now is https://www.mql5.com/en/users/benmcc1 
And your password is google related password now, right?

If you reset password from the google related to the native one so the email should come to your google email.
It works for me - because I changed my password many times for example.

You can try tomorrow or on Monday for example.
And I can repeat - it works for me and for many other users as well.

Are you saying to go to settings in my profile and change the password there for this google related account I'm using now?

EDIT: I'm not sure thats possible as I don't know the current password for it. It's not the Google one.

I am talking about this link: https://www.mql5.com/en/auth_forgotten 

You told here that your username is having google related password (from google) so the email should come to your google email.
At least - it worked for me and for other users too.

I can not help anymore. I just told about my experience and the experience of the other users.
