I would have liked to see a dynamic exit in your Poll. To be clear, a dynamic exit is a variable distance exit based on an indicator, calculation, etc. Also, a dynamic exit evaluates conditons client-side─as opposed to a server-side fixed stop.

I voted for "Both" because that option is closest to my dynamic exit coupled with my fixed stop.

The best exit strategy isn’t one single rule — it's combine risk control + market structure + trade management. The goal is simple:
👉 Protect capital first, maximize profit second.

From a risk management perspective, I don’t really see it as choosing one. Fixed TP gives you structure and consistency. You know your risk-reward upfront, which is important for maintaining discipline over time.
Trailing stops are more about letting the market pay you. They work better in strong trends where you don’t want to cap your upside too early.
In practice, I lean towards using both. For example, I’ll usually have a defined target based on structure, but once price moves in my favor, I start managing the position, either scaling out or trailing part of it.
That way you lock in something, but still leave room if the move extends. The key thing is not the tool itself, but consistency. Whatever exit method you use, it has to match your entry logic and risk profile.
