MT5 freezing and chart rendering issues after latest update

Hello,

I’m writing because I’ve started experiencing serious issues with MetaTrader 5 after the latest update.

Before the update, everything worked smoothly. I was running over 30 charts at the same time, with my own EA and chart analysis, and there were no performance problems at all.

Right after the update:
– the platform started freezing when I try to move or zoom charts
– the interface shows graphical artifacts
– dashed lines look much thicker and different than before
– the problem appears especially when multiple charts with analysis are open

Nothing else in my setup changed. The exact same profiles, charts, and EA worked perfectly before the update.

Hardware:
– Windows 10 laptop
– Intel HD 4000 + GeForce GT 650M
– Same behavior also visible on my VPS (graphical artifacts)

It really looks like something changed in the chart rendering or graphics engine in the new build.

Could you please confirm:
– if this is a known issue
– and if there is any workaround or recommended solution?

If needed, I can provide screenshots or more details.

Best regards,
Pawel Andrzejkowicz

MT5 Totally Screwed after recent Update

Alain Verleyen, 2026.02.04 13:50

You must use the previous version 5430 or the latest beta 5574, in which all these errors are corrected.
Or wait for the official launch, which should be done shortly.

For the latest beta, go to the Help menu -> Check for Updates.

Microsoft Windows 10 is in "End of Life" status, you are not getting security updates. Your money is at risk.

Please check RAM and CPU resources first. Your machine may be underperforming under heavy load.

Thanks for the clarification.

I’m experiencing the exact issues mentioned in the thread after the latest update – mainly chart freezing when multiple charts with my analysis are open.

I’ll wait for the next official build where these fixes are included.

Best regards,
Pawel

Thanks for the information.

Yes, I’m aware that Windows 10 still receives security updates until October 2026, so that part of the setup is still covered.

The freezing issue started only after the latest MT5 update, while the same setup was working smoothly before.

I’ll wait for the next official build with the fixes.

Pawel
