This topic will be used to bring together all information about MT5 updates process. This is NOT for chitchat...
I don't think it's limited to MT5. Since Wine was updated to Wine 11, none of my wine apps are working, including MT4 and MT5. I run an older Intel Mac mini running Sequoia using OpenCore Patcher, so maybe that's the issue. I don't think my graphics can handle the update XQuartz necessary for Wine 11, but that's just a guess. Anyway, it's very discouraging. Up until now my Mini has done everything I want but now more and more apps won't run on Intel any longer. Time to upgrade.

I am running MT5 on Wine 11.1 without even a dedicated graphic card.

- Metaquotes creates an installer that installs MetaTrader with all the necessary components on MacOS, and the terminal works good.
- Wine 10.3 - Wine 11.0 have known launch issues that are caused by Wine itself.
- Crossover 26 uses wine 11.0, you can draw your own conclusions.
- If you absolutely need to install Metatrader yourself, please use Wine 11.1-11.2, win11 bottle, and WebView2 144+. Also, use WebInstaller for installation; it will download all the necessary fonts.
