when copying a signal: Do i need to bring the correct market watch window up with relavant timeframe, or does it trade regardless?

Before I have used an expert advisor setting, where I had to set all the charts with the correct time frame and link to the settings.

Now I am copy trading a ( different) signal. According to the information videos, I do not have to do all this, just copy and go?. just wanting to check if this is correct?

In the   deviation/slippage   field, select an option and click   ok   in the   options   window to close it. Go to the   search area   of your mt4 platform, on the upper right corner (where the magnifying glass is), type in the name of the signal you want to subscribe and click   enter
