I followed your advice by rewriting my product descriptions into proper paragraphs and translating them into all 11 available languages.
After doing so, the product rating has indeed improved — now showing “Product rating improved for good description and translations into other languages.”

Stanislav, the article Eleni referenced actually states the opposite of what you mentioned.


According to MetaQuotes, excessive use of lists and bullet-style formatting can lower the description quality rating, and translating into all available languages directly affects the overall score.

So the link supports Eleni's remarks rather than contradicting them.

I referred to the practical example, where changing plain text to a list improves the rating, which is quite opposite to the above. This just confirms the idea that the entire underlying algorithm of ratings is not clear and logical. You can't say what number of lists is suitable for specific product.

Instead of forcing developers to apply different formatting by trial and error, again and again (frequently without a success, because a reason is not obvious in many cases), MQ should publish exact rules, such as, for example:

  • no emojis;
  • capslock not more than 10% of text;
  • color not more than 10% of text;
  • bolds, underlines, etc not more than 10% of text;
  • no external links;

...

If none of the rules is violated, the rating should not be bad.

Also you have too much bulleting, try using larger paragraphs and blocks of text.

However, a few others were rated as “Product rating lowered for bad description”.

I’m not sure what the remaining issues are, since I have already translated all descriptions into 11 languages and rewritten them into natural paragraphs with fewer bullet points.

I would greatly appreciate your feedback so I can further improve the descriptions and fully comply with the MQL5 Market guidelines.

I don't see anything wrong in your descriptions, you may need to wait a little longer for the ratings to be updated.

Dear MQL5 Market Support Team,

I have been waiting for the product rating to be updated, but unfortunately, it still shows a poor description rating, even though I have carefully reviewed and followed the MQL5 Market guidelines.

I feel quite disappointed because I truly tried my best to improve the description — rewriting it into clear paragraphs, avoiding excessive bullet points, and translating it into all 11 available languages as advised. However, the rating still hasn’t changed, and I’m not sure what I might be doing wrong.

I sincerely hope someone from the MQL5 Market team could kindly guide me on what else I can do to improve or let me know how long it usually takes for the system to update the product rating.

I would greatly appreciate your response and support.
