If you've downloaded the MT5 terminal from the link at the bottom of this website, a Metaquotes demo account will be created automatically upon installation.
If you've downloaded the MT5 terminal from a broker's website, you will need to create a demo account with them in order to login into your trial account.
Thank you very much Elenie.
I downloaded from here not from a broker.
But I can't find them.
Where can I find them. Can you give me a link?

When you install the default MT5 terminal from here, you get a 'create a demo account' window where you can create your Metaquotes demo/trial account.
If you missed that, go to MT5 >> File >> Open an Account, to create a new demo account.

Sorry guys if this is a silly question. But I will appreciate you patience with an old man.
I just installed MetTrader5 on my Windows11 machine.
I want to start playing around but I understand that I have to log in with another user name and password in the app, not what I use on the website.
I will appreciate if someone can guide me or give me a link how to do itand start trying the app.
Thank you.
