Symbol mismatches, signal subscriptions

I have subscribed to a couple of signals, but cannot copy the trades because the Symbol is slightly different to my broker.

Signal = OILCash & XAUUSD
Closest brokers I can find for the residents, are OilCash and XAUUSD

But I just get "Symbol not found", cannot copy trade

I have set up custom symbol mappings, to discover these don't work wirh subscriptions.

Are there any programs which receive signal subscription orders, then convert symbols into those available with my broker please?
If not, can anybody provide such a utility please?

No, there aren't any such programs, the only way to copy these signals is to use the same broker or some that use the same symbols.

You can move your signal subscription to another trading account, once a week, here: https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/subscriptions

Thanks Eleni. Unfortunately the signal provider's broker is not available to UK customers.

Does this mean I cannot copy this signal? and have lost my subscription fee?

This is very bad indeed!

You are right, that’s not nice at all, but this whole symbol mismatch started with brokers who, in recent years, have been using symbols as different from other brokers’ as they can.
