MT5 Hangs up

i have been using MT5 app, and currently using a demo account on it, I have been facing an issue where the app freezes app and doesnt reload even after hard restart, i am using it on IOS device, i tried logging out and back in and also deleting and reinstalling but nothing worked, and after a few hours it came back on for a few seconds, i also switched wifi and mobile network to see if it works, BUT NOTHING WORKED!

Can this be demo account server issue? has anyone faced such an issue?

I dont want to face this on a prop firm so just want to make sure if its mt5's own server issue and wont be the same once i am on prop firm's server

can anyone help me rectify this issue?

There have been others on ios with similar issues just recently. not solution has been found. I recommend that you check for an update; as there has been 2X updates on windows version in last 2 weeks. This could be related to your issue.

but imo since the native OS for MT is windows, you should only be using Windows for such trading anyhow. IOS app is an adaption or emulation copy, not native, therefore is expected to have much more issues expected as there will be less developers creating that emulation app.

Thanks Michael for your response, but i am more used to using the app as the platform on windows is very confusing, if you have any link for a quick go thru about windows platform, that will help, and i would appreciate that.

Talking about the update, there was one yesterday and i thought it will solve the issue but it became worse

not "on hand" no. But you can search this site, as there is some good articles and "go thru's". if you search and then on the desktop website, on the left is a list of sections of the website to get more specific results.

i am unsure if this left side is on the mobile website. good luck.

As for trading, have you tried using the metatrader web platform? on brokers they may call it WebX or each broker may have its own name for it. Its a webpage with much like Tradingview, but for Metatrader. This may be better than using the app. Check it out.

You can also find some "walk thru's" regarding that web platform on that search page also.
