I found previous version like 5055 and its working well now.
Me too! I tried a bunch of EA demos a while back and they worked fine. Now when I try those same ones, I'm getting 'invalid license' errors, like, '2025.06.04 19:36:15.848 Core 1 2025.05.01 00:00:00 invalid license'

You just need find previous MT5 as the last update is broken for backtest.
The latest officially stable version/build for MT5 is build 4755.
And the builds started with 5050 and more - they are beta builds only (not stable builds).

Hello everyone,
I recently created an account on ******, downloaded MetaTrader 5 (MT5), and successfully connected my demo account.
However, I’ve encountered an issue when attempting to backtest paid Expert Advisors (EAs). Specifically, I receive an “Invalid License” error during testing. Interestingly, free EAs work without any problems.
To troubleshoot, I reinstalled both Windows and the MT5 platform, but the issue persists.
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Do you know how to fix it ?
