HELP! MT5 unable to drag symbol(s) to the chart viewing area - page 2

Yeah i was playing around with the compatibility settings since it's an old program but still no luck.  

Oddly I just installed a fresh MT4 on my work laptop that is using Windows 11 with the latest update and it's working ok.  So i'm guessing something broke on my personal laptop when the OS update happened.

 

ok fixed my problem.

Rolled back my Windows 11 to the previous version and now I can drag/drop my charts, indicators, and trade history into the charts.

I've tried everything, even re-installed MT5. 
The odd thing is that click/drag from Market Watch was working fine and then one day, it's doing wired things. I can't even reorder (sort). Tried reset as well, nadda.

What sometimes does happen is if I select a pair to trade, the symbol replaces one of my windows in the viewing area. At random. Click and drag doesn't work anymore.

I figured it out!!! I had the same problem. Tried everything. Then by sheer luck I did this: I right clicked over market watch, then down to Sort, then hovered over sort and then clicked on the top option "symbol". Then repeat, but now there will be an option at the very bottom "reset". I clicked on that and now I can drag and move my forex pairs up and down where ever I want! I can't believe this worked!
