Login to MetaTrader Community via From Terminal.

Hello, I can log into my profile using the MetaTrader4 app. But when I open the Desktop MT4 terminal and use the same login details, it tells me the login details are wrong. I restarted the computer and closed everything and then reopened it. What can I do? Thank you very much.
 

Don't use your email as the login. Use your username, which in your case is "steffen.lingner", not "Heyho".

If that does not solve it, then try reseting your password. Sometimes that fixes the issue.

    Then show your log output, which will certainly have error messages that will help identify the issue.

    It depends on what was written in Metatrader journal (error number).

    Most often situations are the following:

    • incorrect login/password,
    • or traders are login to the messages (on the top right corner of Metatrader) instead of login to Community tab of Metatrader,
    • or host file may be the reason too (post with instruction about HowTo)

    Community login should be made on community tab of metatrader - besides, your login is vikasarul because the link to your profile is https vikasarul. Com ------------------------ and i found the information about how the other users fixed it forum on trading, automated trading systems and testing trading strategies
