I had similar problem and solve it this way :
- Terminal started.
- File menu->Open Data Folder
- Double click on "Config" to open the folder.
- Close the MT5 terminal.
- Delete the file Terminal.ini
- Restart your Terminal, problem should be fixed (you could have to set your toolbars/windows as you like the first time).
Many users, myself included, have found running MT5 on macOS to be tricky due to compatibility issues. One solution that works well is using Windows via Parallels Desktop on your Mac. This setup tends to be stable, allowing you to focus on your trading strategy without worrying about data window or other technical headaches.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

- Open the "Finder."
- In the menu bar, click on "Go to."
If the terminal is installed from a pkg builded by Metaquotes, the finder path will be like this.
~/Library/Application Support/net.metaquotes.wine.metatrader5/drive_c/Program Files/MetaTrader 5/
